AUCKLAND.
This day, Mr Peter Hall, of the firm of Winks and Hall, died yesterday. Amongst the valuable works in Sir G. Grey's Library are the manuscript from which the first Bible was printed in 1462, an autograph of Louis 14th, a cheque drawn by Marie Antonetle, and the original score of the Watch on Rhine. [fBOM A CORRESPONDENT.] Messrs Oppenheimer and Go. have received 2 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medal as awards at the Christchurch Exhibition. Tbe Thames Paint Co.'s silver medal will arrive by first boat from the South.'
