Alexandria, August 38. The Flan of Action. According to authentic information which has transpired, Sir Garnet Wolseley will personally command the force which is being despatched to land at Aboukir. Major General Hamley will co-operate with Sir Garnet at Bamleh, the junction of the two forces ultimately being effected at Kafrdowar. The whole of the British fleet now in Egyptian waters, with two exceptions* will be engaged in the bombardment of Aboukir, which commences on Sunday next. London, August 18 Mr Gray, M.P, In the House of Commons last night an excited debate took place regarding the sentence passed upon Mr Gray, M.P. for Carlow for publishing in the Freeman's Journal an article reflecting on the judges and jurymen engaged in the trial of an agrarian murder. The discussion lasted some hours, and was i of a stormy character, but finally lapsed without any result.
