IN accordance with section 59 of " Tbe Harbours Act, 1878," the following copy of a Bye Law proposed to be made is published for general information. By order of the Board. _ F. C. Deaf, Hon. Sec. TLiames, August sth, 1882. Bye Law No. 3. I.j pursuance of the powers vested in them by "rlhe Harbours Act, 1878," the. Thames Hnrbojr Board hereby ordain as follows :—Thai the following clause in Bye Law No. 1 of the Thames Harbour Board is hereby repe_lcd:— "For aJI goods, wai\3, and merchandise, which have paid inwards whivfsge passed over the said wharves or otber places aforesaid, for immediate transhipment, frr c therefrom, free." And Ihe Thames Harbour Board further ordain that the following clause in Bye, Law. No. 2 of the Thames H»rbour Board is heieby repealed: " For all goods, war;?, and merchandise, which • re. tr.infhirprri from one vessel to tpother within the Port of Thames, or landed at. or upon any wharf, hard, or landing bstween Kopu wharf and Bocky Point, with'n theßaid Harbourforimmediate shipment therefrom there shall be paid one half the above named wharfage charges." And in further pursuance of the powers vest d m them by "Tbe Harbours Act, 3878," the Thames Harbour Board hereby crdnin: That for all good?, wares end merchendije, which same good* have poid inwards wharfage which are transhipped from one vessel to another within the Pot of lhames, or which am parsed over or shipped from any vhnrf, hard, or landing, between Kopu wharf and Rocky Point, no outwards whavfage rates, du?s, or charges shall be paid. , That every person or owner of any vrs.el who shall use the ship grJdiivn at Sborllniid for the purpo-e of placing a vessel thereon for ;ny purpose," shall for each such ve'sel placed thereon, pay to the Thames Earbour Board a sum of one pound (£1) for each day or part;of a day such vessel-is upon such ship gridiron.
