This day. The Rev. Mr Willis will probably be appointed Archdeacon of Waikato. Abbot Alcock is recovering. An Alexandra settler, who came down on Saturday, says the Kingites are completely indifferent as to Winiata's fate, but that the description of the scene at the execution is calculated to cause some excitement and feeling among them, and will be cast in the teeth of the Government at some future date. Mr Stewart has discovered a new route for the Cambridge-Botorua Eailway. Mr E. Maginn, late of the Thames, has sold his cordial business to John G-rey.
