The bowling of the Australian men was dead on the wicket, and their oppo nents were unable to make a stand against it. At the close of the day's play, the Australians had six wickets down for 191. Their play was excellent, and was much admired. The weather was 'fine, and capital wickets were pitched, the ground being in good order.
