[Heutkk's Special.] London, August. Consols remain at par. The bank rate remains at. 3 per cent., and the market rate at 2£. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £11,250,000, or £1,150,000 less than on Thursday last. Large withdrawals of gold are now being made from the Bank of England for Italy. London, August 3. An Impending Crisis. It is reported that the Lords are determined to adhere to their amendments made in Committee in the Irish Arrears of Bents Bill. Parliament Adjourned. Both Houses of Parliament now stand adjourned, but it is understood they will be re-convoked for Saturday, 19th inst.. Australians v- Gloucestershire. The Australian cricketers commenced a matchto-day at Clifton against eleven of Gloucestershire. The latter went in first, and they were all disposed of for 108 runs. The bowling of the Australian men was dead on the wicket, and their oppo nents were unable to make a stand against it. At the close of the day's play, the Australians had six wickets down for 191. Their play was excellent, and was much admired. The weather was 'fine, and capital wickets were pitched, the ground being in good order.
London, August 3. Arrival of Cetewayo. Cetewayo, formerly King of the Zulu tribes, has arrived here. Hopes are freely expressed that he will be reinstated by the British Government.
The Ladies' Land League in Ireland will shortly be dissolved.
Parnell and Dillon are organising a new Constitutional League.
There is an agitation among the Irish police for an increase of pay.
The dynamite faction at Chicago has founded a dynamite school at New York.
