The Company is formed to purchase fron Boberfc Graham, Esq., the valuable Hoi Springs, Baths, Hotel, and Estate, situated at the Waiwera, within four hours by coact , j road, or twenty-four , miles by water, froa the City of Auckland. Steamers run daily and a mail coach to "and from the Nortt Shore three times a week. The Waiweri Harbour being . within the- Hauraki Gulf offers a delightful pleasure trip, of whiol many thousands avail themselves during thi year. The beauty of the harbour and of th< snrrounding country, as well as the eurativi properties of its perennial and abounding 'thermal mineral springs, are so wideli * known that comment is unnecessary. Sea bathing, rirer bathing, and boating on the rive which-runs through the property, are amoni the many: attractions of this unique estate The climate is so mild and equable through out the year that tobacco and the orange anc lemon grow luxuriantly. Mr Graham ha spent large sums in developing the property since he acquired it nearly forty years ago Having brought it into a paying condition, h< wiahef to retire and leave to others thi ..further great improvement of which thi Waiwera property is now capable. The property handed over to the Compaq will consist of the Hot Springs (which hay yielded an inexhaustible supply of minera - water from tima immemorial); the Hotel whicl is doing a large, and profitable business, anc capable of accommodating from 90 to 100 per eons comfortably ; the whole of the Harbou ■ frontage, and 728 acres more or less of adjacen country. The latter is admirably adapted to .a Township,Tilla Residences, and smallVarms It will become,very valuable when a prope wharf is built by the Government, which, it i hoped, will not be much longer delayed. 1 further block of 102 acres has been leased b; Mr Graham j from Mr Anderson, at i re'ntalof £50 per annum, for 10 years, with i tight to purchase for £1000. This lease wil also be handed over to the Company. .The property, with Furniture, Plant, Liyi Stock, etc., Baths, Bath-bouses, Hotel, Cot tages, Land, at d the Lease above mentioned will be sold by Mr Graham to the Compare for £23,000. Mr Graham only requires one half of this amount to be paid within si: months- from allotment of shares, and wil accept fall; paid up shares for the balance o the purchase money.' One-third of the share: - will be apportioned to and reserved for thi Southern Provincial Districts of New Zealand - and Sydney and Melbourne. The prelimin ary expenses incurred in the formation of th< Company will also be paid by Mr Graham. The Hotel- business yielded last rear a ne profit of £1,622, to whioh sum it has ste&dilj grown from the small beginnings of eighl years ago, when accommodation for visiton was first attempted. It is proposed to. appropriate £7000 it enlarging the Hotel and other improvements - in order to keep pacp with the growing de mand and,great increase of visitors from thi South of New Zealand,' and from all parts o Australia and the South Sea Islands. Thi profits of the year may then be confidently estimated,at from £2000 to £3000, with " proportionate increase in the years to follow. From the land alone a large revenue mvi ultimately be secured, and in the meantim ; the current and increasing business is a suffi dent guarantee for handsome dividends to th shareholders.
