This day. A Telephone Exchange y with Port Chalmers has been established.
The City Council have decided to dis^ pense with the services of the gas engineer.
A successful sale of Crown Lands in the Parkleburn and Glenkerick districts was held. Excellent prices were obtained, and the competition was keen.
