; Tb's day. The Herald says :—The inquiry made by Mr Thomson in the charges brought by Farrell against O'Grady have been concluded, and we understand with a result favorable to the officer accused, that is to say that none of the charges have been substantiated. As to the scandalous charge referred to in a paragraph of our paper of Saturday last, it was not brought against O'.Grady, nor, indeed, could it be. Two seamen belonging to the barque Chile, iiamed Chr;st:ansa> and Lewis, stabbed a mate in the forehead early this morning, inflicting a nasty wound. They were charged at the Police Court today, and remanded,,
