The Queensland ievenue for the last quarter amounted to £612,090, being an increase of £41.000 compared with the June quarter 1881. The Speech further stated that immigration to the colony would be encouraged, and that communications were beiag exchanged with the Indian Government on the suhject of emigration of Coolies to Queensland^
