Fatal Fire.
- The Whangapoua catastrophe report is confirmed of a man being burned to death. His name was Harry Jones, and the building burned was called the Yankee Rosturant. The fire occurred at 2 this morning. Sergeant MoMahon is there arranging for an inquest at four o'clock.
The Golden Belt in breaking down the reef yesterday obtained over half a hundredweight of good picked stone.
The Success lodged 40ozs of gold in the bank this morning. The JBismakck lodged 64ozs, which was an excellent return. Blaokmobe's cleaned up after a nine days run for the good return of 152 ounces. The Ujniok 17 tons crashed yielded 74ozs.
