The author is Mr Sherrin, a well known newspaper man. It is dedioated to Major Atkinson, and the author says ; " The rare skill the Colonial Treasurer displays in arranging the public accounts of the ... Colony precludes the supposition that ha will have any difficulty in understanding the finance of a bank whea it is explained to him." . ;" McDermon Marshall, Booneville, MA. shot and killed A. B.
