LICENSING COURT.

Several applications were made at ths sitting of the above Court yesterday. —-An application for a license for a new hotel at the New Find, Te Aroha, was made by Messrs Lawless and Joy, and was adjourned for a fortnight. •" Application was made by Mr Corbett, for a license at Waihi, Jarsd was similarly dealt with. An application for a license for a new bouse at Paeroa, put in by Mr John Mahoney, was refused. The Chairman, however, said that if it were proved to him that xmore accommodation was needed in Paeroa, he would grant the license. This concluded the business.
