Thisdar. Hiroki was brought up this morning,' charged with stealing a double barrelled gun and other articles, the property of W. Taylor,, of Waitotara. After,. f he evidence of Mr Taylor and a native witness, the prisoner was committed for trial.
Informations have beeu laid and summonses taken out against the two men who were dismissed from the Taranaki Mouted Rifle corps, for appropriating articles when searching the whares north of Waitara for.arms. , " . ',
