NOTICE OF POLLING DAY. | N pursuance of " The Regulation of Elec- *- tions Act, 1881," I, Habbt Kinbick, Returning Officer for the Electoral District ot Thames, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the ninth day of November, 1881, under the band of the Clerk of the Write, an ELECTION will be held for the return of one qualified person to serte as Member for the said Electoral District; and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at tbe Court-house, Queen street, Thames, at Noon of the thirtieth day of November, 1881.
And that the Poll, if'necessary, will be taken on FRIDAY, the ninth day of Deoem*; ber, 1881, between the hours of nine o'clock in the forenoon and£six o'clock in the after* noon. All disputes, claims, protests, and objections arising out of the Racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards,' or whosoever they may appoint, and suoh ' decision, on all points, •hall be final.
