Col. Trimble addressed the electors in town last evening^, when he reviewed the events of last session. He commented at great length on the conduct of members engaped in " stonewalling," and declared himself a strong supporter of the present Government. A vole of thanks and confidence was carried.
Te Oti was brought up this morning charged with stealing articles from Messrs Fleming Bros, house at Kahotu. The evidence disclosed that some of the clothes were found on the prisoner when arrested. The prisoner was remanded till Wednesday next.
