The fourth aeries of wool sales opened to-day, with a good attendance of Home and foreign buyers. '

The first catalogue comprised 41,900 bales, for which there was animated bidding. Prices for scoured and crossed wools ruled one penny to one penny halfpenny higher than at the close of last sales. The present series of auctions will close on the 10th December.
