Tbis day. An Editor Horsewhipped. Johu Gannon, brother of the candidate for East Coast horsewhipped Mackay, the editor of the Poverty Bay Herald this morning in the Gladstone road, for publishing a statement that the name of Gannon could not be found on any baptismal or marriage register.
