PUNGAREHU.
This day, 10.20 a.m. Titokowaru, Tewhetu, and Teoti were seat to Neve Plymouth by coach at 3 o'clock this morning with two armed constables acting as escort. Lateb. In the last message Reno Rangi, it should have been stated instead of Tewhetu, had been sent to New Plymouth. Tewhetu and Patu have been released. The evidence obtained against Teoti is that some of Fleming's wearing apparel was found ia his possession when arrested. Titokowaru appeared very sullen this morning. Charges of theft are made by the natives this side of New Plymouth against the search party of Mounted Eifles. They alleged that a mere and a cheque were stolen from a whare. Lieut. Davis proceeded to the wbare, and after a search found both the cheque and mere untouched in it. The site for the new camp is being cleared, and a move will be made on Saturday. The road making will be resumed on Monday or Tuesday. The Eahotu camp will be broken up shortly.
