I N Pursuance of (he Powers given by Keof ion 27 of the " Municipal Corporations Act, 1876, Amendment Act, 1880," the Council of the Borough of Thames hereby give notice that on the 27th day of November, 1831, a PUBLIC ROAD will be laid out, commencing at a poini indicated by a peg driven in the ground at the end of Ihe road leading from the Tararu Road past fclie Kuranui Battery 1o the Building formerly used by the Shotover •old Mining Company (Registered), and from Biich point of commencement Buch«<Road will belaid out for a distance of about 560 feet, in an eaßterly direction, fco the Borough Boundary; that the width of such Road will be 33 feet; that the name of such Road will be the Kuranui Hill Road ; that Pegs showing the line of such Road have been driven in and painted red ; that objections, if any, to such Road being constructed nvuat be made in writing and left at the Council Chambers) Albert street, on or before the 24th instant, where sketch dfauch Road can be seen.
