This morning a company of Armed Constabulaty were marched, into Farihaka, and all the Maori women, with their children, were to assemble on the slope in front of the cemetery. The total who assembled was over 800. Search was then made for those belonging to Wanganui, when 47 women and children were arrested and placed in the whare near where the men are confined, and the others were allowed to return to the pah.
