PICTON.
This day. Mr Eyes, candidate for here, addressed a large meeting of the Picton electors on Saturday evening, and received an almost unanimous vote of confidence. The Clarendon hotel was burned to the ground last nigbt. The cause is supposed to be a defective chimney.
