These Stoppings resist the ac.ion of the acid secretions o! the mouth, and entirely prevents any metallic taste—a complaiut frequently made. It is placed in the Tooth in a soft state, and soon becomes hard, and if resorted to in time renders the extraction of the Tooth unnecessary.
