Tltis day, 10.50 a.m. Word was sent at 9 o'clock to the natives at Paribaka to disperse, but no answer being given, the A.C. at once proceeded to empty the whares where the Wai ka to natives were all assembled in meeting place. A company of A C. are now clearing the whures iv the centre of the Tillage. When walking amongst the Maoris a good num* bcr of guns were found, but no resistance was made, the people silting without a , . word. The Volunteer:) under arms are the Kelson Battalion covering the assembly. The A.C. are surrounding the Tillage. \ The .Native Minister is here. Three correspondents, found in the Settlement, were sent to the rear' under an escort. . . . • . Te Whiti and Tolm are in the Block* . house at Puugarehu. '.:'•: Hiroki is in a tent in irons, and is secured at night. A quantity of arms of all sorts werti : ■ found, and passed out. . .
