Capture of Te Whiti, Tohu,
and Hiroki.
12.32 p.m. Te Whiti, Tohu, and Hiroki captured without any resistance, at 11 30.

The troops advanced from both camps at fire o'clock on Pariliaka, total strength 1700. Great rxciiement at the settlement. The Armrd Constabulary entered, and the IN el son and Thames men, under Major Pi>'t,' formed the left flank, the Canterbury and Maryborough the right, and the Wellington and Thames Narals the centre.
When the Riot Act was read there were great hakas danced by the boys. The troops were iv good spirits, and closed on Paribaka at eleren.
Te Wniti was arrested by Major Tuke at 11.30 a.m. Tohu was also arrested without resistance.
The rolunteers were well placed, and Hiroki, after being arrested, was, with Te Whiti and Tohu, sent to New Plymouth.
