The Hinemoa sailed for Opunake with 200 officers and men of the Wairarapa Bifles, City Guards, Naval Brigade, City Rifles, and also a United Press Association special correspondent.

The Hinemoa and Stella arrived from Opuuake this morning, and the former vessel leaves again for Opunake this afternoon with volunteers.

Johnston, a candidate for Te Aro, addressed the electors last night, and received a vote of confidence.
