Auckland, This day. Mr Dargaville is mentioned as an opponent to Sir George Grey for City East.
It is rumored Parliament wi'l be called together, as the misunderstanding between the Governor and Ministers still continues.
The Armed Constqjmlary are within a few yards of Te Whiti's boundary line. The war feeling amongst the natives is gaining strength.
Sir George Grey will soon announce the popular platform for the elections, and everything points to the elections taking place in the middle of December should matters be righted at Wellington.
