This day.
At a meeting of the Building Trades yesternight 300 men were present, and decided to work eight and a half hours per day, and have half holiday on Saturday.
At a meeting of the Grammar School Governors to-day it was decided to erect a boarding establishment capable of accommodating 40 pupils.
Garrard, the agitator, was brought before the Magistrate this morning, charged with personation, and remanded.
