A great disturbance has taken place at Mullingar, a market town of some import* ance in the county of Westmeath. The destruction of property is enormous, and many persons have been killed.

The investigations made by the police into the cause of the recent fire at Moscow when the great bazaar was burned down, and property to the amount of 3,000,000 roubles destroyed, has placed beyond doubt the fact that the fire must be attributed to inceudiarism. Suspicion is directed to the Nihilist organisation which it is believed is again commencing its system of terrorism.

The Bed Republicans at Paris are exhibiting great hostility against the Perry Ministry. At a meeting of Communists which was held last night, 20,000 persons attended. The Government were denounced in.the strongest terms, and it was resolved to impeach them as soon as the Legislature reassembles.

Intelligence has been received by the Admiralty of a mutiny on board the ship .Rambler, 3 guns, 774 tons, and 750 horse power, stationed at Maculha, a seaport town in Arabia.

The harvest in Manatoba, the newly settled province in the north-west of Canada, is reported to be exceedingly good from the virgin soil. An average yield of 28 bushels per acre has been obtained.
