At the meeting of the Queen of Beauty shareholders held this morning, it was decided to carry on the compauy as at present. The shareholders did not seem favorable to the idea of floating a new company on the London market. Great confidence was expressed in the manager, Mr Black.

The City of ifew York arrived from Sydney at two o'clock this morning, and left this afternoon at two.

A vote of confidence in Mr Buckland as a candidate for Franklyn North was carried at Drury yesterday.
