The leuding features of this Company will be to protide — Ist. A superior Hotel with the comforts of a home, from which alcoholic liquors will be deluded 2nd. A Large Boom, where Tea. The marked success which has followed the establishment of what are known as "Coffee Palaces " in England and various parts of the Colonies is well known. The absolute-neces-sity for one in this city is r» cognised, and t!»e promoters confidently beliere that such an institution cannot f.il to prove of great and immediate benefit to the com-i unity, besides being a financial succeeß to the Shareholders. A very eligible site in the best part of Queen-street is now under offer to the pro* moters on very advantageous terms, which it is desirable to secure at once. The promoters feel that in an enterprise of this nature it is desirable to eulist the sympathy and practical support of all classes. With this object in view, they propose to form the Company, with Shares at £1 each, so as to secure a large proprietary. The terras of payment are as follows:—Is per share on application; 2s. per Bhare on allotment; and the balance, if required, in Calls of 2s 6d per share at intervals of not less than two months.
