Tie length of such race is about sixty five chains, and its intended course is westerly along the sideling of Waiomo creek. The mean breadth and depth of buch race is twenty inches by twelve inches. It is capable of carrying five eluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of forty inches each which it is intended to appropriate is five. Notice is therefore given that on the seventh day of November, 1881, a license may be granted to tke said Robert Workman, for the said Water Race, unless valid objection thereto be in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at this office hot less than seven clear day? be'ore that date.
