;At the Pumping Meeting yesterday, it was decided to continue pumping for three months longer from the 400 feet level, the Q leeu of Beauty agreeing to contribute £35 per month.
{The Presbytery to-day passed a resolution appointing a committee to enquire into, and report fully, upon the means of providing religious' instruction in the public schools. A, similar motion was given notice of in the Diocesan Synod.
