On the motion for going into Supply on the Supplementary Estimates, a discussion arose as to the Government action in refusing to allow Brogdens' to try their claims by petition of right. Several members agreed that the claims should be tested at law in the ordinary way. Hall said one claim was now being so tried, and until they saw the result they could not say what they would do about the others, but they were prepared to treat all fair claims not only justly but liberally.
