Spread of Scarlet Fever.
The third and remaining child of Mrs Gibbins, of 'Brown street, was buried on Saturday.having died from scarlet fever. The 'Unfortunate ; womafn herself was attacked 'wilh the disease on yesterday morning, and of course, having under instructions^ all the clothing, bedding, &Cx»>ja.the house, she was almost without -''cloth'!*"sufficient to cover her, until Mr Mason supplied, her wants. Dr Payne yesterday visited the patient, and reported . the case, upon which Mr Mason at once acted, proc iring a nurse, and making whatever arrangements could be 'made for the unfortunate woman's comfort, .This, morning we learn there is an improvement in the symptoms.
