Thames District Belt.

The quarterly competition for the above belt took place to day at the Government rifle range. The ranges were—2oo, 300, and 400 yards; seven shots at each range. The wind was very baffling, but the scores are, nevertheless, very fair. The highest score of the morning squad was that of Vol. Gill, of the Hauraki Engineers, with 79 points out of a possible 105.
