AUCKLAND.
This day. White, formerly landlord of the Shamrock Hotel, wandered into the bush at Tairua while in a state of delirium tremens, and has not since been heard of. A search party of 40 men have been out, but returned unsuccessful, and no hope of his being found alive is entertained.
