Reeves has been speaking for the last two hours and a half, and is still going on. 3 15 p.m. Reeves having finished, a division was
taken on Bastings' -amendment to substitute 60 for 91 in clause 2. The amendment was negatived by 40 to 24. Gisborne is now moving an amendment giving the North Island 45 members, and the South 46.
