This day.
J. It. Hooper, the actor, well known in the colony, committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence last evening. When the body was found, life was quite extinct. It is believed that the cause of the act was destitution and low spirits, as he had been out of employment for several months His wife, Miss Bessie Vivian, is at present with a dramatis company in Clmstehureh.
