In the House of Lords to-day, the Irish Land Bill was again brought up for further consideration of amendments made by the House of Commons at the last sittingVarious modifications were discussed at some length, but the bill was finally agreed to without further alteration, and duly passed through committee. In the course of the debate the Marquis of Salisbury expressed himself satisfied with the final change made in the measure by the House of Commons, but he added that he held that the House was answerable for results which might rise from carrying out the provisions of the bill.
