The Evelyn are now driving for the same reef in consequence of the encouraging prospects obtained by the Young Colonial. They are now in about 70 ieet.

The Dulcibel hare now two shifts constantly at work, and are driving from the eastern side of the spur. They have cut a larfge reef which yields encouraging -- prospects. The Martlia are at a stnnclstill until the baftery up. In accordance with instructions' received at a late meeting of the directors, Mr A. Porter has instructed JMr .pßajMon/o pi*|#fe^ plans and specifitatioDg for the b»tt»^p, race, and tramway. Tender*, will be aaked for as soon as the surveys «re completrd. Morton; and party are worluDg on a reef parailel with the prospectors, and are meeting with good prospects.
