GOLDEN STAE,

The manager reports as follows : —Two men are cutting through the large reef in the footwall, but they have not got throuph it. The hanging wall portion of the reef is flinty looking, and, as I think, we are nearing the footwall, the quartz has a more kindly appearance, with more mineral, and showing good colors of gold. —H.
