CALEDONIAN. The manager reports on the Ist as follows : -" The junction of No. land Young American leaders at No. 3 level has greatly improved in size. South west drive at the same level has come across a break in the reef or a large watercourse, which has greatly disturbed the reef. It is again making into its proper course, and the reef has a better appearance coming in. The reef where cut into looks very huujjry and poor, so I have stopped work here, and put the men to rise upon the reef where I got the best mineral adjoiuing the new crosscut at No. I level. —T. B. Alburnia.—A parcel of 32ozs 31wts gold was banked to-day for which about 20 tons of stuff were put through. Caledonian.—O'Buglien and party have banked 6ozs 3dwts gold.
