CHRISTCHURCH.
Wednesday. It continued raining all last night and today, and the consquence is that the country is flooded north and south. The Bail way line at several poiats is two or three feet under water. This is the case south of Ashburton, in the Ellesmere district, and on the Oxford branch line. Trains were delayed a good deal in consequence. The ri?ers are not yet reported to be flooded.
