Id the House to-day, Dr Wallis gave notice of motion in favour of the annual election of members of the House of Representatives, and of an elective Legislative Council.
Mr Andrews gave notice of motion for the establishment of a special class under the Government Insurance for total abstainers.
Mr Dick presented a report of the County Council Commissioners on the Central Otago Hail way. ,
Mr Macandrew moved that the report be printed.
Mr rvke moved that the evidence also be printed
Mr Hall agreed to the printing of the report, but: riot -the evidence, and the amendment for printing the evidence was negatived on the voices..
