At the inquest on the fire at Jago's house, the jury returned a verdict that it was accidentally burned. It was sought to be shown that the case of jewellery insured in the Liverpool aud London Office for £100 had not beeu burnt, and Jago and his sou both agreed that th**? heat was not sufficient to destroy the* jewellery, but both swore to not having been able to find the articles or any trace of them siac-e the tire.
