Lilliputian Opera Company.
A treat, such as Thames playgoers have not had for many a day, awaits them at the Theatre .Royal this evening. The Lilliputian Company give their first representation of iho comic opera of "Pinafore." Throughout •this and the adjoining colonies, the performances of the children have been most highly spoken of, and as the greatest care has beeu taken to perfect them in their several parts, and the scenery and all accessories have been brought from Auckland, the ropresfiiitatioii to-nit?ht will, we are sure, be equal to that given in larger places. In Auckland, money was repeated! 7 refused at the door, the large theatre not being able to accomodate the pleasure .seekers. It would appear as if the more the performance is seen, the more inclined people are to see it again, and instead of the repetition of the pipce giving weariness, it has quite a contrary effect. We anticipate a full house to-night, and would advise all to get their seats early.
