This day.
The school committee refused to allow effect being giren to the permission granted by the Education Board to the Bible in Schools Committee to issue circulars through the schools, in order to ascertain the wishes of parents of the children in respecct to Bible reading. The school committee expressed an opinion that the Education . Board altogether acted beyond its power.
