In the House of Commons to-night, the third clause of the Irish Land Bill was, after a further debate, passed in Committee. Government is now meeting the views of the opponents of the measure in a conciliatory spirit, and in order to facilitate its passage.

Telegrams are to hand from Candahar announcing that since the defeat inflicted prior to the 7th inst. at Girishk, by the Ameer's troops upon the followers of Ayoub Khan no further engagements have taken place between the two forces In the last eucounter Ayoub's adherents were completely defeated and put to rout, and have siuce fled from the neighborhood of Girishk. It is now stated however thai Ayoub Khan, with a considerable following, is leaving Krigsafed (sic : Gur I Safed ?) to reiuforce his routed troops.

Two huudred Italians were to-day arrested at Marseilles for having taken part in the recent disturbance.
