London, Jane 16. ] The Irish Land Sill. In tbe House of Commons, the first clause of the Irish Land Bill, referring to the classification of tenants, which had been under discussion, since the 31st ult., was passed through committee to-day. The consideration of the second clause of the Bill has commenced. The " Daily News " to-day publishes a paragraph stating that: the English Government has sent a communication to the United States calling attention to the present nature and extent of the Fenian movement in England, and requesting that steps may be taken to prevent the operations of Fgnians in America. Telegrams are to hand from Panama reporting that there is considerable discontent and consequent disorganisation among employees on the canal works, and that the same are thereby being seriously impeded.
