J. A. Morgan, a starch and farina manufacturer, has applied for a whisky distilling license, . iFering to pay the Government the same duty as is charged on the imported article. * Mr Morgan writes to the Commissioner of Customs— "If you cannot grant a license under existing laws, will you be good enough to bring the matter under the notice of Government." . „
